Quality
Commitment To Excellence

Macro
Meats - Gourmet Game has implemented a "paddock to plate" Quality
Assurance program with food safety and consistent quality being of
paramount importance.
We are registered with the Australian Quarantine
Inspection Services [AQIS] and operate on an approved MSQA program. This
program is based on a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point
[HACCP] system, which ensures our processing standards are maintained
at the highest level.
We source carcases only from approved suppliers who are registered and
accredited with the Australian Government's Department of Primary
Industries and licensed with the Department of Environment. All
suppliers must complete and pass the required training programs before
they can commence, and are continually audited and inspected by a
Government approved agency that reports directly to the Government with
its findings
Our processing plant is audited and inspected by AQIS and incorporates an approved laboratory for microbiological testing. We are registered to Export Standards and currently supplying overseas countries to EU standards.
A
commitment to maintaining the responsible development of the Kangaroo
Industry is important to us. We work closely with the Government to
ensure the regulations and controls of kangaroo harvesting and
processing deliver the highest standard and the "world's best practice"
principles in animal welfare, conservation management, environmental
issues and meat safety.
